Hahaha yeah that must seem funny but I was asking what other's do with theirs, I know that the pile will go down eventually but there is only so much I will allow the kids to eat as they would have it for breakfast if they thought I would let them!!

I dare say they will plough their way through it but as we have only just come back from our New years holiday in my hometown they have been more interested inbeing re-united with their toys they got for Christmas which wasn't a bad thing and I guess the chocs won't go off overnight!!

True but I like to eat loads all in one go in the hope that the pile will go down quicker and they will make me feel ill so I won't want to eat them ever ever again but it never seems to work!! LOL

Yes I have several bowls dotted around the house in the hope that they will disappear but the kids have still got their own chocolates from Christmas but I think they have had enough now. I think there will still be bowls around the house until April at the rate we are going LOL

I think alot of the problem was that I didn't open any tins of sweets until it was actually Christmas and we went down to Cornwall for a week in the new year so we weren't around to get some real good sweety eating done!!

I even took a huge tin of chocolates to my son's 8th birthday party where there were 20 7/8 year olds and I still came back with the tin 3/4 full!!

I was going to start a discussion about what happened with my uncle but I haven't got around to it yet but it might well be a bit too late now!! Yes he did accept my invitation and kindly invited his son too and then on Christmas Eve around 7pm they sent me a text message to tell me they weren't coming because my uncle had got flu. I reckon they had a better offer where they didn't have to travel 2 hours to get to. I had them a gift too!! In a way I didn't mind because there was no pressure and it didn't mean that I was in the kitchen preparing food whilst they played with my kids which is what I love to do!!

Wow it didn't cross my mind to freeze them, that's a good idea! I wouldn't like to add them to cookies because some of them are soft and even runny centred and wouldn't taste to good like that but definately putting them in hot chocolate is a good one.

I can't resist chocolates either but I am trying to get rid of my middle tyre so it looks like it will be April before I can start on my healthy eating regime!! LOL
