Women dream in detail, talk in detail... and LOVE detail!

now, about this dream I had.. I dreamt that I was standing on a beach, in my one piece blue bathing suit. the one with no back and the neck line goes down to my belly button... no sides in it.. just one string conecting it all... yeah.. anyway .. I stood there and the water was not blue but purplish like the purple misty lookin' purple... and......

Maybe your girlfriend need to lay off the shrooms before bed.

I am with you on this one man! I rarely recall much from my dreams. Your girlfriend has vivid memory apparently though. i like the part about the trees and the exact numbers of apples. hahaha
who is able to get all those details from a dream. maybe girls are more in tune like that. I also thought it was funny how you mentioned the mermaids shooting grenades at the submarines. that's some funny stuff. i agree she needs to be writing a book or something with all that detail.Cash in on the dream litterally. haha

No, normally I don't recall my dreams, but sometimes I remember them in great detail...like the few about the ugly, purple monster doll. The dreams I remember tend to be the scary dreams. (For example) I had a few about the "Scream" dude calling me. I laugh and think it's a prank call and then he says something to make me freak out. At that moment, he shows up at my window with a butcher knife and tries to enter my house and murder me. I also had a dream about the girl from "The Ring" who comes out of my T.V set to get me... I tend to stay away from scary movies... cabin rentals... and "Scream" dudes carrying pumpkin buckets now...

My dreams mostly tend to be nightmares, and I wake up with a shock feeling something terrible has happened. It takes quite a while before I realise things are 'normal' and the nightmare thing hasn't happened after all. After a few hours, I rarely remember the details - only that I'd been frightened and upset. Many of the nightmares seem to be about abandoned or burnt out houses, where I either can't find family members or they are leaving me. Strange, I know.

It isn't too often that I remember a dream. When I do though I remember all. As someone else mentioned its the female nature to pay attention to details.

i am so glad that most of my dreams fade away into oblivion in a matter of minutes, leaving only an aftertaste of something not so nice.

The dreams that i do remember, I rememeber forever..

Like when I was five, and I dreamed i was sitting in the indian red naugahyde recliner, and my parents both left me there, and went out, when suddenly thousands of huge brightly coloured butterflies came flying to the room with angry faces and I dove behind the recliner and hid behind the tacky 70s colourful yet muted floor to ceiling dhoping they couldnt get me there....

The other night I had a dream that this dark hair woman told me to buy a tattslotto ticket, when I got up and told my hubby he made me go out and buy one well guess what???? I didn't win a cent!!!! Never trusting my dreams again

But anyway back to the question at hand I am a bit like both of you! Sometimes I can remember a dream really clearly and other times I think I know I have a dream last night but do you think I can recall what it was about! Just as well goes more then likely my dream was lying to me anyway hahaha

I used to have this same problem, sconibear, until I learned to hook up a special sensor to my skull and it records every thought that I had during the dream. Many times I will use this collector when I need ideas to post on myLot.

Dream director. I wouldn't go as far as to say. i can recall any and all the details of my dreams. And I'm not your run of the mill normal sane person. HOWEVER I dream most frequently in the early morning before the sun rise, and to me they are as real as if it was a normal day, whit a twist!!! They generally have some thing based in a real problem, ( however very distorted ) often involving loosing an important item that i cant live with out, and occurring in improbable locations and with people i seem to and may or may not know, i dream so vividly that i often wake only to attempt to full fill what ever the object of the dream at the time is trying to accomplish, not asleep or fully awake i find my self trying to continue this task however ridicules over and over going bake to sleep only for the subject to change direction and be come more urgent to the point of frantic repeating many times until in a semi awake state. I sit up shake my head and convince. my self that this is not for real, however at times when the dream is of a sexual nature or seems to be i find my self attempting to return to sleep in the hope of completing what ever I perceive to be happening at the time however bazaar it might be this trick never works, however at the time of waking i
can recall the details of the dream in order to try to reproduce it. all though i keep an mp3 recorded handy to recall these dream sequences I've never had the presence of mind to us it.
I'm not going to bother with a recollection of some of these dreams ( SOME OF THEM ARE REOCCURRING ) And memorable to this day and don't believe there is some hidden meaning or agenda in them, just that to some people they are as real as life it self, and as for my self i do remember in some detail the events and am able to verbalize the to other party's in detail often to fined then humorous or ridicules and some times interesting and realize that they are what hey are,
either i fell asleep with Fox Noise or CNN on, Or the events of the day Past or Upcoming were on my mind and filtering through My Last distorted brain cell seemed quite real. and much cheaper than a movie and popcorn so let the girl have her silly dream comfort her and get you some and quit complaining it's as real to her as havering.
