What is your favorite music?  |

 I listen mostly to country,mostly the older stuff and some bluegrass and bluegrass gospel.As far as opera is concerned I only like listening to "Phantom of the Opera".and I like Neal E. Boyd that won "America's Got Talent".I like Native American music and other sound CD's for relaxing.

D*** Clark is a man that had a show on tv in the late 50's and early 60's called "American Bandstand".Where he promoted rock 'n roll bands.Then he has a show every New Years Eve where they have the count down and watch the ball drop in New York city.He was known as the oldest young looking person.Sadly a few years ago he had a stroke and he does not look as young anymore or speak as clearly. | |

MementoMori (213) | 1 year ago |  Hey there...I listen to a ton of different types of music, but in the end I listen to metal music more than any other...I just love how aggressive it is...Also, I really enjoy listening to more celtic/irish stuff...Flogging Molly are simply amazing...It's so cool how they mix together classic irish music with a more modern punk kind of feel to it...Another band that has caught my eye recently is a band called Elvenking...They're a metal band, but they us violins in the music as well, which I thought was a really cool idea...The newest cd they released is an acoustic album, which works extremely well with the use of violins...

My fav music comes from the 60's, 70's and 80's and, though I like some great bands that came up after that, the new pop wave (like the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus) has no space in my heart. My favorite bands are Heart, Led Zeppelin, Abba (yes, how odd to put them in the same quote, eh?), Aersomith, Blac Sabbath, The Who, U2, Pearl Jam, The Beatles, 3 doors down, Queen and ZZ Top...

I first started listening to bluegrass music when I was 12 and my mom was dating Charlie Waller the leader of "The Country Gentlemen".We went to many shows and festival's.I go to a small baptist church in Virginia and we have members there that are bluegrass gospel singers and musician's.We have a monthly show,called "Gospel Sing" where a group comes and performs for us.One of my favorite groups is "All4Hym".They are really nice people too. | |
