Why do you buy a new mobile phone?

I have been in working for 8 years and I have changed 4 mobiles together. The first can not use again, but still keep as memory. The second is stolen and then I bought the 3rd, the 3rd is slow in using, not so good, but it's red colour, it's beautiful, when I start company, I think I should be mature, not so childish, so I change the 4th,totally black, fit for business use, till now.....
The first brand is Panasonic, the 3rd and 4th is Anycall...
Normally, I do not too care of it's function, can call or receive, can send message and can take photo is enough for me.For other function, I seldom use. I will pay attention for the appearance small and the function is easy to use, the price is above middle, but should be not too high, if there is no problem, should be using for 2 years.

I buy a new phone when I get tired of the one I have and when a new one is out that I want. I usually buy my phones on ebay cause it is cheaper, but this last one I just went ahead and bought through Verizon. It was more expensive but at least I have a warranty, etc.

I would buy a new phone normally when it dies or gets stolen. Otherwise I would not spend over and over a cellphone in every 2 years. I think when I am buying a TV, music system, or a computer then also I get backdated with the product after 2-3 years. But that do not matter to us that much, just for only reason that these things are expensive are not easy to change so frequently. I think the same about a mobile phone. Though comparatively much much lesser than a TV's price, but the mobile is also expensive, especially when I am buying one with camera, and all the fine features. So i would like to wait with my current mobile for 5-6 years before deciding.

i used to upgrade my cell phone and my wife's cellphone too. but got tired of it. it is all the same. the unit's name changes but the features are all the same. message and call, pictures and videos. mp3/mp4. now the latest has tv and the one that you can go surf in the web . what is it for? i have three tv in my house. i have broad ban two laptop and one desk top. i have a digital camera and a video camera. its been three years now since i bought a new cell phone i wanted to buy a new one but i got myself a psp instead. har har har. next i want to get a wii for my wife

I buy new phone for advance technology .... will have more memory .. camera and big screen ..have a nice day ...............

I usually upgrade my mobile phone to get the best quality of camera and sound. I as i am a music geek i like to hear songs wherever possible.

Actually i am planning to buy a new one these days very soon. I am still having a black & white handset with none of the modern features available. With the ever progressing multimedia technology you can do everything in a mobile phone,starting from business to entertainment. I would very much like to keep pace with the latest technology & planning to buy a new multimedia mobile of nokia.I guess it would be a combination of camera,mp3 player & phone for me as i need all of them. thank you.

Hey i need mobile phone to chat with my frnds, had latest technology.camera, listening music etc......i use mobile also for showing off..i had a Nseries nokia mobile so i used to take it alwayws so that my frnds other people get jealous....because earlier i also get jealous when someone shows his/her mobile in front of me,,,,,,,,,,

I use my phones until they become obsolete. Some companies actually charge a fee when you activate a new phone. With some phones you can just switch SIM cards and and keep going. My current phone was a friend's temporary phone while he waited for one he ordered to come in. When he got it he gave me the temp one. The battery seems to be winding down quicker and depending on replacement cost I may end up getting another phone.

Elite, my second Nokia mobile phone is not clearly audible while talking to people. I do not know if I should go for the third one. I am afraid if that phone too has problems!
