I have not heard of this but I will be watching this post with interest to see what news arises.

Last month, they just closed on a house in Dallas together, so I don't think that is true. Least of all, that's all I know.

Don't people have anything better to do? It is just amazing to me! I very much doubt that George and Laura are getting a divorce. And what would Conndilisa have to do with it? I think it is a crock.

I like to read Ted Casablanca on www.eonline.com and he's been saying for a long time that George and Laura are for all practical purposes separated and that they will divorce after he leaves office. He even said that for a time she was living incognito in a hotel in DC but has now come back to the White House. I don't know if it's more to do with Condoleeza Rice or W starting drinking again, although there was a story in the past where Condi publicly referred to W as her "husband." Interesting stuff.

Although I know that it is a work of fiction, I read the recent book "American Wife" with great interest because it was supposed to be based loosely on Laura Bush. That gave some interesting perspective as well.

I guess we'll see before too much longer if they stay together or not. Personally (just my opinion), I'm glad that they're leaving the white house and don't have a huge amount of interest in whatever they might do when they leave. But I'm sure that I'll click on the story if it appears online too. :)

i wouldn't blame her if she did divorce him but i don't think she will. sure wouldn't blame her if she did, he's such a dork. there has always been talk about him & rice.

I haven't heard or seen anything about it. Apparently I am completely out of the loop on most things that are political. Guess we will have to wait until then to see.
