Does anyone eat mayo on their black eyed peas?

I know,I know. Alot of people say im a weirdo for that too,but i cannot eat black eyed peas without mayo. I just cant. My husband cant eat em without sweet pickles. Do you eat mayo on your peas if not what kind of weird stuff do you like that others may think is gross?

Don't believe I've ever eaten black eyed peas. I will eat regular, canned peas but only with butter or margarine and salt. Something that people make fun of me for eating is popcorn with mustard on top. We use to do this way back in high school and it's something I continue to do. Gives the popcorn more taste. Think it's better on plain popcorn instead of buttered. Another way I will eat it is by putting mustard on a plate and dunking each piece of popcorn in it.

Black eyed peas are a bean. They are white with a black dot in the center. That's why they are called black eyed peas. They are really good and healthy.

Yuck. Black eyed peas are good with onions. They are good on top of rice or pasta. Maybe tomato sauce if you are baking them for a side dish. Mayo never!
I had black eyed peas for new years. The woman who cooked them made them with onions and served them with brown rice. She didn't have any greens to go with them, but it was still really good.
