Better typing skills because of mylot?

Hi, I have noticed that since I joined mylot, my typing skills have improved. I am able to type more words per minute (not that I really count), all I know is that my fingers move faster than they used to hehe. Anyone of you who has also the same experience?

Hello silverglint! I noticed it too. Before I joined here, I can't type the correct letters without looking the screen but now, I found out that I can do it now. I type faster than before. I also noticed that my english has improved for the better now.

What I mean is, I can't type letter without looking at the KEYBOARD not a screen..hehehe..I am sorry for the typo.

I think we should keep on practicing here in mylot so that we can get better and better. hehehe. I agree that mylot is also a good place to practice your English, people here don't really mind if you make mistakes because they understand that we all come from different countries.

My typing skills have also improved since being a member of this site. I think it is only natural that they would improve as you are constantly using the skills required in posting. Time seems to fly by while you are on this site and there is and abundance of information that can be acquired in almost any category that a person could think of there being.

I could actually type about 54 words a minute when I was six yrs old!
( I took a test, I practically knew everything about the computer at that age!)
I wouldn't say it has improved in the way I type and since I type pretty past now I don't think I can go nay faster, but it's still good typing, because I do make some typing errors here and there, and maybe if I keep typing I can practice for those errors to go away. :)

wow, you are pretty good I don't think I was exposed to the computer that early. I think when I was younger, they use the typewriter more often than the computer

Yes I have the same experience and I believe almost all members here have improved their typing skills especially their speed. I am already satisfied with my speed and I could say mylot helped me more. I am not sure but I think I could type around 45-50 words per minute and if I go slower than that, that's okay. The major change I noticed is that I seldom look at the keyboard when I am typing! And that is because of my frequent mylot activities. Anyway typing speed and skill will only improved if their is constant use of keyboard so that you fingers will have lots of exercise.

its good that we have discovered another benefit of being in mylot other than the earnings, the knowledge and information that we acquire and the friends that we make. I think that being in mylot is very rewarding for us mylotters

Really nice experience. Practice make perfect, i think this happens on you :)
If we doing our daily task, will make it more improvement. Good luck, for you. This will make you have a more opportunities in other job like to be the typist. Just hope, your words not comes first in screen, before you thinking about it ;)
I believe, anything that we do, we also gain to other skill. Like your story, joining myLot for share your opinions, or follow other discussion with respond it, you also get the other benefit, become a good typist too.
See, alot thing you can get in myLot, extra-cash while you make any respond or open discussion, and be a good typist as well, can you imagine what the next move you can make ? maybe someday you will surprise us, with your other story in myLot.

Mine too before mylot I use to be counting stroke one at a time and I always had to have my eyes on the keydoard because I didnt know where the keys were.I still keep my eyes on the keyboard for the most part but now I can momentarily take my eyes off and not make mistakes and I also type a lot faster.
