I sometimes do. Some times the cellphone becomes really bothersome and i can not seem to get any work done. Specially when i am in a conference or am trying to finish some important work, it becomes really irritating with the persistant ring. I hate being disturbed when I am really concentrating otherwise my chain of thougt gets broken. i just switch off teh cellphone and often i forget to switch it on.

I definitely do that sometimes especially while I'm sleeping. I sleep mostly during the daytime because of my job and I really hate it when somebody calls me or sends me an SMS for nothing. People who usually bugs me are citibank's agents. I just hate them. They call just to offer me things that I don't need.

I find cellphones very intrusive, especially when you are trying to relax, or need some quality time to yourself and there it is going off disturbing you, demanding your attention, it's only a machine, a gadget yet it can be so controlling, so by turning it off you are taking the power back and giving yourself a break, besides if you switch it off you save the battery and won't need to charge it so often, so not only are you having a welcome break by it being switched off but you are saving the planet too, double whammy!

Well, people don't really call me enough for me to get bothered by it. :( lol. But if I am doing something important, I will at least make sure to turn it on vibrate. I am scared to turn it off because I don't want something to happen to a family member and no one be able to reach me.

My cellhpone is always on. I guess I just feel like I may need to use it right away in an emergency or something, or someone could be making an urgent call to me. and when it's off, you can't see who has called, but of course if it's important, I guess they would leave a message. If I can't answer, then I'll just ignore the call.
