what do you use  

i have never tried using bricks before. maybe this is because, bricks are not that easily available at my home. it never crossed my mind that bricks are that strong as not to break if it takes the blows. only now that it has crossed my mind to keep a brick handy at home. i might be needing one when there will be something around which i have to hammer on.

I have a couple of stone that my grandson brough from Yosemite, didn't think of them. thanks I will that in mind. thank you for your response.

Please just be careful of any splintering pieces of the stones or bricks -- you don't want them in your eyes. Wear a protective eye covering. Why not just get a hammer?

I'll be careful, I can't find my hammer. I won't use the brick because they do tend to break, I'll use my rocks. thank you

I've used my heel to hammer a nail in the wall, which worked just find, but today when I tired to hammer the nail on the floor, it didn't work.Now I can use my stone. thank for your idea.

I know I won't find my hammer, it's been a while since I last it. but the other people gave me a good idea. the only thing is I'm able to pound the nail, but can't use the stone to remove the nail, that's when I use my scissors. I use what I have, I know I need to buy one. thank you for your response.

I know I used my good pair of shoes, I didn't have anything else. I guess I'll be using a rock, how said it that. We going back to the cave men days. LOL

I have a couple of good boulder, not the hugh ones, these actually fit in your hand. what I did was put a magazine under the carpet, where the nail are. So tomorrow I'll be using my rocks. thank for posting.

I also use a better knife to for a screwdriver. and my sicerros (forgot how to spell it) to remove nails.

I tired that but didn't work, but I've used a butter knife to fix things. thank you so much loves
