Do you prefer Long hair or Short hair and why?

i like both. somethings are good with long and and others aren't. As of right now i am trying to grow my hair out but its a long process.

i like both but my husband prefer to have my short hair.he said i look more a lady because of the shape of my face and the kind of hair i have.

My hair is currently mid length, but I cannot wait until it grows to a really long length! I love having long hair, it is easier to manage to be honest! And my boyfriend likes my hair curly, but at the moment when its curly it goes as short as to my shoulders, so I cant wait to curl it more when its longer:)

I think I look better with short hair these days. When I was younger (high school and collage age) I wore my hair long and liked it for the versatility. I could wear a different style every day. I am growing my hair out now, but will not keep it long, this is just temporiary.

It definitely has to be short hair for me! I love keeping fit and when I am cycling all that long hair would get in the way and it certainly would collect a lot of sweat too! No, I love short hair as it is far easier to handle! You don't have to stick gel on it, you certainly don't have to brush or comb it! I generally go for the skin head look myself. I think that this is quite a popular haircut these days. If we are talking about ladies now well that's another story! I love long hair on women! I find it attractive. I like long hair,my hair was way past my waist for a lot of years. About two years ago I cut it about shoulder length. As I got older my hair started getting thinner and people said it made me look older. I don't think I'm going to grow it out long again, now that I'm used to having it short I kind of like it this way.

i love both..because my face is an oval shape..whatever hair syles can do...unlike other shapes they should really follow what kind of hairstyles it supposed to be ...like round shape prepare long hair...oblong shape prepare short hair..while square shape is boycut type of hair..

Tack me on to the list of people who enjoy both. After all, long hair is very versatile. So many styles, and it's really fun to be able to swing your head about and have your hair whip round. Whenever I have really short hair I miss that, and of course have to wait to get it back since hair grows so slowly. On the other hand, short hair is much easier to manage, and I love the feeling of a shaved head as it goes through the prickly stage on to the soft phase.

So right now I'm compromising. I got a mohawk, with the top untouched, as long as it used to be, and the sides and back shaved. I have a lot of hair, so if I leave it down you almost can't tell most of it is shaved off. Otherwise there's just a lot less of it so I'm more prone to do things like put small braids into it, or experiment with how and where I'm putting it up. When it's all long, I tend to stick to a bun or pigtails and leave it at that.

Well, when it comes to caring for it, I like to have shorter hair, only because long hair is hard to manage, for me anyway, harder to brush, shampoo and rinse out. But I like long hair cause most men prefer longer hair and I think it looks better on women. Even though short hair is easier to maintain, long hair seems prettier, so I pick having long hair, plus you can play with it more.
