Maiden fans: Mötley Crüe or Children of Bodom?  |

|  I'd like to see what other Maiden fans think  I've noticed that nowadays more and more Maiden fans like bands like Children of Bodom. I don't like CoB at all but Mötley Crüe is one of the best bands ever in my opinion (not even close to Maiden, though...) So, which one is better in your opinion?

| |  I haven't hear of Children of Bodom or CoB So it would be hard to choose since I haven't listened to them as of yet..But I have heard Mötley Crüe and I liked them.

| | Yes. Altough Children of Bodom is not nearly as bad as many other death metal bands, at least the singing is much cleaner than with most death metal bands. I actually think that a few of their songs are ok but I wouldn't buy any of their albums. | | | |

| |  I have never listened to Children of Bodom, and I can only remember Kickstart My Heart from Motley Crue. It was an entertaining song. Actually Vince Neil's Exposed album was more interesting. It had Steve Stevens on the guitar. But none of it is anywhere close to Iron Maiden, in my opinion of course. Up the Irons!

| |  I think they're both hard to compare, even though I don't really enjoy CoB. I used to however when I was 16 heh (like most). Motley Crue will always rule, but I think the death metal, power metal split makes them card to compare on that level.
The reason why I started to rethink CoB is Alexi (singer) made some comment about how his fans should shutup because he "knows metal." He continued by saying something ignorant like "Who are you to tell me what metal is? I'm Alexi Laiho of CoB, I am f**king metal."
Pretty ridiculous in my opinion.

| |  I prefer Children of Bodom, some songs of them are amazing, and was one my favorite bands on the year of 2007. I love Motley too, they are a great band, one of the greatest band ever. But my vote is for Children of Bodom.
