driving a stick shift  | |  Who among you knows how to drive a stick shift? it seems to be a dying art, or is it? Who taught you and how difficult was it for you to learn?
I was taught by the father of a friend. I can still remember sitting at the bottom of a hill, trying to get up that hill and constantly killing the engine. While this father tried to explain what I was doing wrong, showed me how to do it right, and sat and laughed every time I killed it. I was 19 at the time.
