I have one TV which I bought in 2005 (to replace a broken TV.) When I moved to my new condo in late-2007, I put that TV in the bedroom and bought a larger HDTV set for the living room. My original TV is a widescreen without a built-in HD tuner, so I bought a tuner for that one.

We have 3 tvs, which we use in something of a regularity. One is over 4 years old, so maybe 2004. Another is only a few years old, maybe 2007. The other tv is the oldest, I bought it before I got married. It was bought in 1996. I still works quite well. We use it to play out nintedo machines on.

(You're going to think I never shop and replace stuff lol!) I have 3 tvs. My living room tv is a large screen console tv, and it's a 1980 something. It still works great, and with the sattelite dish I can still get all the channels I want. It has a beautiful cabinet around it, and I figure 'if it ain't broke, why fix it!' My bedroom tv and the kitchen tv are both from the early 90's, and are still in great shape with the good color and picture and all. Eventually I'll probably have to get a new one to replace, but if they're still good in the color and picture, I think for me it's a waste of money to upgrade just yet. I consider myself lucky to have sattelite, and that I don't have to worry about this stupid changeover that the govt' is doing in Feb!

Hello apples99
Let's see now. Right the main one in the front room is nearly 2 years old now, then I have one in my bedroom which is about a year old and then my kids have a tv in both of their rooms which I haven't got a clue how old they are as I was given them so they would have something to watch dvd's on or plug their consoles into!

We have two TV sets in our house. The first one is from 1997, first bought when we moved to Canada. Still works perfectly fine. The other one is from 1999 or 2000 (I can't remember the exact year) and it was given to us as a present along with an entire sound system and karaoke system by my grandmother. No, she's not rich, we were going to buy it anyways and she insisted on buying it for us. It's not a bad set either, still works great. My dad keeps saying that he wants to buy a bigger TV, flatscreen and all that, but our living room isn't big enough to hold the kind of TV he wants. The fireplace gets in the way.
