Did you know that January is the Break Up Month?

http://www.snopes.com/love/dating/january.asp apparently january has the most break ups in it other than like february.. they think its people wanting to wait out the holidays before they dump people so that it wont disturb others holidays etc.. yeah HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! i could understand that though.. i mean if i were going to break up i wouldnt want to deal with all my family knowing about it during xmas etc but i think i wouldnt want to spend time with that person during the holidays and fake that i like them either!! so have a lot of your relationships ended on a january? i cant remember but i think one of mine did..

I never believe in break ups. When I go into a relationship, I go into it for keeps. So, if there are bumps along the way, I will deal with it. It is expected in a relationship. Especially if it is a long term one. No relationship is without its thorns and bumps. There is no such thing as a relationship that is a bed of roses from start till end. It is how we deal with those thorns and bumps that makes the relationship stronger.

yeah but you have to break up with some one eventually.. i mean other wise i would be married to like 7 people right now lol.. but yeah everyone should go into a relationship expecting it to last

I did not know about this, this is the first time I heard about this. Is it because the Valentine's Day falls on February, so the couples decided to break up before that? I don't have relationships ended in January.

that is again news to me.i didnt know a study was done on this.i have no personal experience on break-ups,as i have not been through any breakups.

i did not know juanuary is a break up month.. but i had one break up in january 4 years back.. she was 17 and iwas eightenn back then.. the affair lasted only 4 months and it was not a painful break up.. we used to be friends after the break up but now we dont meet each other as she moved to australia..

heyyy i thnk its nly bcozz february has less day then january)))) its not like that you r telling this is the breakup month... its upon the perception of a person what he or she feels.. i think any month is break up or patchup timee so dnt feel like that..
