anybody still listening to classic music?  | | | |  hi all!
music is one of the things created by mankind which serves as a form of entertainment and even helps people cope with things such as stress. different time periods and different cultures result in various forms of music. there's the modern electro, techno, R & B, jazz, pop, rock, folk, and of course, classic music.
my question... is there anybody still listening to classic music?
in my case, for some reason, although i listen to electro, techno and pop, i still appreciate the beauty of classic music (such as ones by Mozart, Bach, Chopin, etc.). i like the sheer beauty of each piece and makes me feel calm and relaxed (but not sleepy). if i recall correctly, there were some researches in the past that said that listening to classic music may help improve your memory and concentration.

| | Good question...I've been wondering myself how many people listen to Classical. It's not a popular style, though. I like Bach's Toccatta and Fugue--any version...Grieg's Morning Mood...I forgot...who has The Seasons? and Moonlight Sonata--is that Beethoven or Mozart?...Anyway, I don't listen to Classical much anymore...I do like Yanni and will listen to his music more often because it's more spirited and just plain exciting with the unusal instruments used and the great vocal backups...Yeah! Other than that, I like R & B/Soul, 70 and 80's Rock, Country, Disco, some RAP, VERY Little Jazz, Opera, Folk and DooWop. | | I still listen to classical music. I'm not an expert on it, but there are a lot of works I enjoy. My favorite pieces are Bach's Italian Concerto and Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D.
