Would you ever lie for a good cause? Do you think that lying is fine when it is for a good cause? Whether would you do any such thing in life? Do you find it justified to tell lie as and when you face a situation?

I would lie to prevent someone from being hurt, physically and/or emotionally, but that's about it.
I don't think even lying for a good cause is really right because if it's truly a good cause, lies shouldn't be necessary. I guess it would depend on the situation.

As far as possible, I try to speak truth. But I don't hesitate to lie when it is for a noble cause. I know several stories where truthful people have lied for good causes like saving someones life.
