How much do you spend on average for video games? |
| |
| Whether you are a child or an adult, there is virtually a video game for everyone's unique interests. The technology has no doubt amazingly progressed over decades, and whether you prefer classic games or the newest additions, games are widely available to the public of almost any class. Of course, some games are pricier than others, but there are reasonably cheaper games available as well. Personally, when I was in my earlier teens is when I purchased the most video games. I had a psOne and a Gameboy Advance. I would spend on average at least 30 to 50 dollars say every 2 to three months. I would sell my games back when I lost interest, but I know I did not gain back the total amount of money I spent over time. Of recent years, I have not bought many games since I grew distant to game play for awhile except for playing friends game consoles. But, in the past month, I have played games with my boyfriend who I live with. I have bought 7 games which has totaled around 300 dollars. The reason is because one of them is a very rare game which totaled alone 176. The rest were reasonable priced no more than thirty and the cheapest being 5 dollars. I just got some money from school, and had extra. I don't normally buy things for myself entertainment wise so thought it would be nice. Other than these recent purchase I don't plan to spend anymore on games....except for perhaps the new upcoming tomb raider >.< | | | | | |

| | Well, I'm trying not to spend as much as I used to because I have a ton of games lying around just waiting to played. Plus, I've got other things I need to do. I think I've spent around $85 on games/accessories this week alone. I got myself a Wii in September of '07 and since then I've accumulated about 40 Wii games and close to 100 games off of Virtual Console and WiiWare, so that amounts to a bit of money. | | | | | | |

| | I remember when I had the psOne I used to buy at least one game everyweek. I would get my paycheck cashed and buy myself a game for the playstation. Now I rarely buy a new game and if a buy a new game I really have to check that it is good before I buy it. | | | | | | |

| | I got a gamefly subscription and found out I don't really need it as i'm happy just with certain video games that are top-rated or that i'm just simply happy with. I can stay busy on not that many video games for a while especially with online gaming. On average I could probably spend 200-300 dollars on video games and be happy as some video games just are in a league of their own. | | | | | | |
