I have seen these via TV or email only, but even from this media, I can understand them being called the Wonders of the World, very beautiful scenery..

yes, seeing them on television is also a way of experiencing these beautiful structures which have been attracting millions of tourists coming in from various parts of the world. there are ways whereby we can have a good feel of these places although we have not been there. seeing them on pictures, on tv and reading about them might even be a more rewarding at times. some of those who have been there, did not see the structures extensively and intensively. but, if we read about them, there will surely full descriptions provided therein plus the pictures yet presented for better appreciation.

I have seen all the wonders of world either on TV or in mazines or in papers or on net..the only wonder i saw in reality is The Taj mahal. It is nothing on tv what you see when u go there and see it. At first when u reach main entrance and after you brough tickets you see quite a few things which no TV or pics show the barracks of the kings army or the mess for the officers. Then when i cross another huge gate i saw Taj . it was 200 meters or so from there and my jaw dropped. Wow it was so grand wow . never have i seen anything like this before in life. When i went inside i cud feel the history of the place and the love of emperor Shah Jahan for his departed wife. The walls were so magnificent and felt so good to touch and such a fine work done on them . It was such an experience which no tv or mazine can give u.You got to see it and same must be true for rest of 6 wonders.. hope i can see all in my life.

It is great that you can give us a first hand account of at least one wonder. I hope others post and tell us about the others. It would be nice to hear or read in a discussion.

there are many more wonders of the world than that it depends on which 7 wonders you are referring to, ancient, medieval, modern day? there is pyramids, the collossus of rhodes, the hanging gardens of babylon, just to name a view that come off the top of my head, I have seen any of them.

neither have i seen any of these named seven wonders of the world. i have never gone abroad and i live in the philippines. besides, i am not so keen on seeing those renowned beautiful places. in my country there are so many beautiful sites to visit. still, i do not go to a place just so as to have a sight of one. if ever i happen to see one site, it is because i have gone there for a purpose and being there is incidental. so just stay happy coolmailraj, you might not have seen anyone of these but nonetheless, there are so many of us who have not been to any of them. there are beautiful sites around us that matters most to each one of us. and, these are the ones that makes us happy being where we are.

Pictures only, but if I were more than an armchair travelor, I'd love to see all. No such luck, I'm a home body and very uncomfortable travelor. Sea sick, air sick, water sick, etc. And on top of that broke

I have never been to see any of the 7 Wonders of the World and have no desire to see any of them either. I prefer just being out in nature rather than visiting a man made structure. Nothing man can create is more beautiful than a forest or an ocean.

I have seen none of them, either. I would guess that if I were to see any of them, the first one would be Chichen Itza, because I live closer to Mexico than to any of the others. I would like to see Machupicchu, but I am lucky if I just get to go see my relatives.

I am sorry to say that I have not seen any of them in real life. Except for crossing the Canadian border in to Ontario I have not been outside the US. If I have my way though I will see the Colosseum. I would like to see them all, but we will see how things go once I hit retirement.
