well i've been talking about her, her teeth and the tooth fairy a lot lately, well her second tooth is about to fall off and she won't give that one up to the tooth fairy either. she loves keeping little things, she's a collector. she say the tooth fairy has enough. the first tooth she got money and kept but i told her the tooth fairy won't do that again. she won't come back and leave anything. but she still won't give up her teeth.
did your kids give them up easily

What a cheap tooth fairy your daughter has, only paying out on the 1st tooth. Man, I would trade her in and get a new one.
My son got a $5 for his first tooth loss, then a silver dollar after that, if i remember correctly, you guys use silver for ones and two, but in the US a silver dollar is a fairly rare commodity so he was thrilled with them.
I can understand your daughters reluctance.

i think you misunderstood. she only gets the money if she puts the tooth under the pillow. if she wants the toothfairy to come she will get money. i never said she won't get money after the first one. but she needs to understand she can't get money for nothing. if the tooth fairy doesn't get the tooth then she shouldn't get money. i never said if she puts it under the pillow she won't get anything

My kids gave their teeth to the tooth fairy, no problem. But I can understand that your daughter feels they are hers and she doesn't want to let them go. It doesn't sound like she cares that she doesn't get any money, so I wouldn't worry about it. But as a side note, I wanted to add that my girl friend sprays glitter on the dollar bill she gives her kids from the tooth fairy. So, they get these special dollars. I thought it was a really cute idea. Maybe you could put them in a scrapbook or her baby book so they are in one place where she can find them.

In our religion there is a superstition that if you bury your tooth then some new brother or sister would come in world so when I was small I wanted a baby sister to play with and so I used to bury my milk tooth in the soil and I did get a baby sister at last. Actually children are really fond of their teeth so most of them do not want to part with them.

Hi there,
do you mean she keeps it for collection, or she doesn't want to extract it at all? If it's the latter, what is the reason she doesn't want to extract it? Because she's scared of the pain?
Well, I do not have kids now, so I do not know how the kids are dealing with the teeth. But when I was young, I was really scared of the pain, so I always didn't want to go and extract my tooth. But most of the time, my mom just forced me to do that and explained to me why I should do that.
