Do you prefer small dogs or big dogs? |
| |
| I'm pretty torn in this matter. I like big fluffy dogs because they're adorable! But I think it's hard to take care of them. I also like small dogs but not something as small as a chihuahua because I'd rather have a cat than that - small dogs like a beagle look cute :P Fluffy dogs like a well-taken-cared Siberian Husky would look handsome as well. | | | | | |

| | I have had dogs of all shapes and sizes and I have loved each and every one of them. My only criterea for dogs is that they are friendly, or at least nice if they are not in a friendly mood. | | | | | | |

| | cool! Which dogs would you say are the most "moody" then? | | | |

| | I have never determined that by breed. Each dog has its own personality. I've seen big and small dogs be moody. They all have their own way of doing things -- just little idiosyncrasies that make them unique and a lot of fun as well. | | | |

| | I usually prefer big dogs. I don't like little dogs because I find so many of them yappy and mean. I like some small breeds especially terriers. I like big dogs because of how friendly they are and how they like to play fetch and other fun games. I have two big dogs in my house now and I love both of their personalities. | | | | | | |

| | I'm not really a dog fan really, but i have to say that if i was going to have a dog, i'd really rather have a medium sized dog then a little one, or a giant scary one. . maybe like a golden or black lab type dog. or a sheltie | | | | | | |

| | I am also torn on this one. I have 2 of each at the moment and love them all. But I would have to say that my little papillons are my favorite. The big dogs can guard me better but I really enjoy cuddling up with my little dogs. Papillons are a little bit bigger than a chihuahua but not by much. And they have lots more fur than them. | | | | | | |

| | I like all dogs, i prefer large dogs, which so far in my life i had large and small. Fluffy dogs i agree need to be groomed daily, which if you have the time, they are beautiful dogs, or if you could afford to take them to a pet salon saves you time, but costs money. I have a shepherd/husky mix, he is beautiful, i comb him daily which does not take long at all, and he loves to be combed. i had poodles which there hair had to be cut, to me that was time consuming for me. | | | | | | |

| | I have always been a fan of medium to larger dogs. I do, however, like some small dogs (like poms and papillons). I guess I prefer bigger dogs because it's easier to horse around with them and you can usually play a little rougher whereas with a small dog, they are easier to step on haha. Smaller dogs are more cat-like to me-- and if I wanted a cat-like creature, I'd get a cat! They are also much better suited to be your lap dog. However, don't tell that to a big dog--they still try to climb into your lap!! I think big dogs tend to be easier to train as well (of course this is breed specific as some larger dogs are stubborn as all get-out haha). I also just have a few favorite breeds and they all tend to be bigger (and energetic haha)--the smallest breed I really like is the corgi, and they're just big dogs with tiny legs. I also want to have a jogging partner and I think you can usually run for longer distances with a bigger dog. | | | | | | |

| | Moochie is a small dog. Among all dogs we've had in years, he is the only one manageable enough to render putting him on a leash useless. Plus he doesn't occupy much space at home. Taking him for a bath is pretty easy too! Bigger dogs means bigger maintenance. Bath, food, etc. | | | | | | |
