Michelle Obama's Dress what did you think?

I did not see it on television, but I just got a picture of her online with it on. It did look very nice, was not too fussy and suited the occasion well. She does suit that color. She must be excited tonight.

I don't know maybe it was the color of my screen but it wasn't a light yellow, it was a greenish color. I think it may have been the sun that made it look like yellow. At times it looked like a yellowish green. What gets me is that different news reports, report the dress at different colors. Some say a kind of lime green, one said gold, and another report said yellow green. I had to laugh at the media, already they are reporting things that are not really important issues in regards to the Obama's and already they are getting it wrong. I mean one of them might be right but they can't all be right when they all say different things.

But I did like that she doesn't wear the "uniform" I mean the way the various first ladies have dressed are in a kind of suit that make it look bit like a uniform regardless of color, even when Nancy Regan started wearing the reds, it still had the boxy look.

For one thing, not all women are built the same, and Michelle Obama, is a tall woman with curves, her shape isn't perfect but it shouldn't have to be.

That she dresses to suit her personal taste and style rather than the dictates of the women of the last 40 years is a good thing. I didn't know she was being compared to Jacki O, but it is kind of funny since it was Jacki O who started the box suits that first ladies have been wearing for to long.

I do however have to wonder, at the issue people have made over the wardrobe of those in office and their spouses, I mean it is an issue if these wardrobes are costing the tax payers a fortune.

I liked the idea of the Neighborhood Ball, and hope it is more than just a publicity stunt but genuine attitude.

On my screen, her dress and matching coat were gold with a beaded trim. I thought Mrs. Obama looked very nice for the inauguration. I found that her clothing appeared to be understated in style but that, when you got to see the fabric up close, it was fancier - yet still appropriate for the occasion. I've heard many comparisons too between she and Jackie O. I'm willing to bet that Mrs. Obama would find this to be a compliment, wouldn't you?:)

I saw the dress Michelle Obama was wear, it was a nice dress,it something that looks good on her, I didn't see a coat I just pull up the picture, on line and I saw a picture of First Lady Michelle and president obama, dancing I am sure a lot of women are going to go out, and buy this dress that the first lady, had on tonight.

Michelle Obama is not just the First Lady of the United States. She is the First Lady of the whole world now. It is expected that she'll be wearing expensive wardrobes from day one up to the very last day of Obama's term. She is now under the public's scrupulous eyes. Let her be at her best. It is a shame if the first Lady is not properly dressed.

I personally liked it and wished I had something similar. I believe she got the outfit from Isabel Toledo and I am sure folks are clamoring the lady's door for similar outfits. I thought it was classy and she had Manolo Blahniks on her feet as well. $575 for the shoes. info from People recent issue.
