If your loved one was doing something that you hated, would you support it?

Background: Your family is full of people who HATE smoking, HATE it. First of all, it is obviously bad for your health (no duh). But you also hate it because it smells, it makes clothes smell, couches smell, everything smell. You thinks it's an awful disgusting habit and you are worried about the health of anyone who smokes... Ok, I think you get the background. Scenario: A cousin of yours is a big smoker. That cousin member is staying with you for Christmas time. Would you ever in a million years let that cousin smoke in your house? Would you ever in a million years buy that cousin an ash tray for your house to make it easier for them to smoke? And would you ever in a million years give that person a cartoon of cigarettes as a christmas gift? Or if your family has some other addiction that you disapproved of, would you do something similar to support them in their addiction? I ask this because someone I know who is very anti-smoking did all of the above! I would NEVER buy anyone cigarettes EVER. I once was out with a friend who forgot her license and she wanted me to run in and get her cigarettes, I said No Way. I didn't preach at her not to smoke, but I wasn't going to help her do it. My house and my car are non-smoking. I don't care if the pope comes by and wants a cigarette, there will be no smoking in my house. So to see a family allow smoking in their house when they hate everything about it just makes no sense to me.
