My daughter is signing constantly anymore. Whether it be the Barney "I love you, you love me" song, "Twinkle Twinkle", "If your happy and you know it", "Rock a bye baby", you name it. If she has heard it she sings it. I am actually quite impressed with how well she picks up the lyrics. Do you have a little song bird or used to have one when they were little?

My daughter is 3 now, she is very much interested in singing and reading books, though she does not know to read a book, she manages to speak somethign or the other according to the pictures int he book...she used to sing many rhymes from 2 years of age and was very much attracted to music, she even hums the music that comes in between the stanzas of the songs, i am in the process sending her to music class in a few months once she starts goign to school, you can even try to put her in a music school once she is 3 or 4

That sounds a really happy affair!
My son is 30 now. He wasn't a singer but he would bang in time with the music with anything he got his hands on. It could have been his spoon when he was eating, hiw hairbrush or anything at all.
He started taking lessons when he was 11 and now has his own group and runs a recording studio too

My mom said my sister and I used to pick up commercial jingles really quickly, so most of the time she'd hear the commercial "theme songs" from us, not the television. She'd shut the TV off, but once we'd hear the same jingle twice, it really didn't matter, we'd remember it no matter how long she kept the TV off.
