How fascinating, I have read a bit about this - There was a woman who had a child taken away when it was discovered (through a medical procedure I think...) that the child had the 'wrong' DNA to be the Mother's offspring. Turns out she was a chimera and had (as you say) two DNA's - she had to go to court and get an expert witness to attest to the fact that this was true and she should not have had the child taken away... There can be cases where two different skin pigments are visible on various places on the body too.

i am realy lucky in fact i have no visual effects from being a chimera i have no differance in my skin pigmentation, i am not an hamaphradite and i have perfectly normal fertility in fact i have 2 lovely children a boy and a girl, i think the likly hood is that because ferturnal twins are only as close as normal siblings in dna then the children may look something like my nice or nephew depending on where they took the test from. my understanding is that some of my cells are one ferturnal twins and some are the others and my blood is a combination of the 2

As the others have said, this is maybe unusual, but not too difficult to explain. Did you know how special your blood is? You can give O_Neg to anyone until you find out what their real blood group is - this is not true of any of the other blood groups. That's why you always hear doctors in the hospital dramas say 'get me five units of O_Neg'. O_Pos and A_Pos are the most common, AB_Neg the most rare, but O_Neg is uniquely useful (I used to work for the blood transfusion service)

O-ve is the most rarest blood group because o + and o-ve are universal donor they can donate to all other blood groupfor AB-ve person o-ve blood can be given but for o-ve person only o-ve blood can be givenSimilarly for o+ve alsoThank you replying i also gave you positive for responding to my discussion

You are not quite correct in your assessment in my experience but thanks for the rating. I guess blood groups are more prominent in certain countries, but to define rarest is to say the least common group, and that is AB- in my part of the world at least. We only regard O- as a universal donor as this is the 'most' universal if that makes sense... I hope you are considering donating blood if you do not already do it? (stocks of O- are always being used so it's a good idea to make sure there's enough you ever need any!!)
