Do you let your bedroom's door open after you go to bed at night?

Is it a stupid question to you?I just woder how many of you would let your bedroom's door open when you sleep at night.If you live a rented apartment with other people, you should definitely close your door and its better for you to lock the door. I live with my parents. Their bedroom is on the second floor and mine is on the 4th.My cousin only spends weekends'night on the 3rd floor. I used to keep my bedroom's door open before Im not afraid of being alone.Besides, its cooler to let the door open in summertime.But now,I wont feel safe if I let the door open.I close the door and then lock it. Do you live in your own house?Do you keep your bedroom's door open, closed, or locked? pls share~~~~~~~~

goog topic I think,I always close the door after I go to bed at night,we rented a room with my two friends.locking the door is good for two things,one,avoid the noise from the TV in the guest room,two it makes me feel that I have a private space,that's a important thing for an adult

Yes, I have always left my bedroom door open at night when I sleep at home. If I was not in my own house I would keep my bedroom door closed. Thank you for a great discussion.
