What kinds of music do you play using your guitar?  |

|  I believe that the guitar is the most versatile musical instrument, it can cover a lot of music styles/genres. I was wondering what kinds of music you guys play on your guitars?
I have an acoustic guitar so I usually play mellow, classical fingerstyle songs, but I also play pop, blues, rock songs and I have fairly good fretting-hand strength/speed when it comes to solos.

| |  mostly classic rock (especially Led Zeppelin!) songs from the 70,s...and I choose the songs based on the guitar I pick up...I try to take turns with all my guitars (don't want one to get jealous!) last night I played "Tangerine", Cats In The Cradle", "Love Me Two Times" and "Friends" on my Dean V-Coustic.

| |  I try to play my own music that I have made up but it's hard to always come up with good riffs and what not. I like to play mainly experimental and metal type music but I'm open to basically every style so that way I can play better and have more technique. I'm more of a bass player though but guitar playing is really fun still for me.

| | Hi jambi462! It's good to know that you are making your own music. I know it's hard to make your own music. When I try to make my own stuff, I never get satisfied with my work! It's really hard especially if you don't have inspiration.
I'm recently trying out other styles too like jazz (i like the bass lines).
I also love playing the bass, but the guitar is my main instrument. | | | |

| |  I like and play many genres of music! I not only play, country, pop, rock,and jazz, I also play Tejano, reggae, and blues, and rhythm and blues!
I like playing an electric and an acoustic also!

| |  well.. I play a lot of classic rock, heavy metal and some reggae. I love playing songs from bands coming from the 70's, 80's and 90's (bands like Guns N Roses, Metallica, Europe, Scorpions, Bullet for my valentine, Slipknot, etc.). I don't play much of other styles like the blues, jazz and other stuff cause I don't have that much time to learn and discover.
