I love to see people with tattoos, although I wouldn't do it myself all over my body as many do.
If you have a tattoo or tatoos, what reason for each one did you chose to have it done?
I have a small spider on the inside of my right leg on my ankle..because whenever I went out men always have a hard time approaching a woman because afraid of a refusal..so I had that tattoo done so that it would attract a man to come and ask me what it was..I had a tiny spider done..so you had to get up reallllllllll close to see it..lol...it works perfectly!!!

LOL awesome!! That's one of the most unique reasons I've heard yet for getting a tattoo :) I have one on my left shoulder... a tribal rose. I got it when I was about 37. I was getting divorced, working full-time and then some, a "suddenly single" mom of two, and my own mom was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer so the kids and I were living with her so I could be her primary caregiver. It was the most difficult time I've gone through up until this point in my life. I thought about the tattoo for a year before I got it and I researched extensively to plan the design. I looked at the rose as affirming that there was still beauty and promise in my life but I wanted no color. People are faithful to the ideas of various colors of roses expressing specific sentiments and I didn't want my tattoo to be about those things. I'm not addicted to ink... probably won't get another one, in spite of people telling me all the time that once you have one, you'll want more (I've already had just this one for 6 years LOL!) ... but I don't regret my decision for a minute. I generally don't wear tank tops and never spaghetti straps so it's a rare thing that anyone would see my tattoo... unless it's someone I'm close to. I'm fine with that :)

LOL...THANKS! I like to be unique lol. Aww that is so cool your reason to get a tattoo and why without color. It is so great the stories I have heard in my life for every tattoo someone has gotten.
I watch on t.v. a series about a girl who has her own tattoo salon and boy one has to be talented to do tattoos.
At one time in my life I nearly became a tattoo artist but then I became a impresario instead lol.
Me too, I only had one done for that reason..am 65 and it still works..loooooooooolll

LOL!!!!! Rock ON! You're right that tattoo artists are mighty talented people. I was amazed, when I got mine done, that I walked in with a picture that I'd basically created on my computer, he looked at it, handed it back, sat down and drew out the pattern to test out on my shoulder. It was absolutely perfect the first time he drew it. I couldn't have asked for a single improvement.

LOL Good reasoning!!
I have one tattoo on my right wrist. It's an egyptian eye with the world for the pupil and has my last name above it. I got it b/c I was angry at the time. Looking at it now, I wish I hadn't. Someday maybe I'll have it taken off. I probably won't ever get another one.
I think it's a person choice for each person and some ppl look really nice with one...others kind of go overboard.

My son is right..do keep it there..I love my little spider tattoo. I wouldn't have another one done though but maybe I would..hehehe my son can't stand the pain..
It was a little painful but am proud of it..

Hey..keep it there..it will be a reminder of never getting that angry again..it can be used as a positive reminder. It was better getting a tattoo than doing something worse.
I'm not going to get another either..can't stand pain lol
