Silver Wedding - how was yours?

I was prompted to start this one by something on another site.... If you've reached this milestone (mill-stone 
??) how did you celebrate? My mum made us a cake and took us out to lunch. My husband finished eating before us so went outside and sat on the wall until we left. My father-in-law sent us a gift of money to get 'something nice'... which we used to get the dog 'chipped and snipped'. I so wanted to write to him saying,"Thank you for the money. We got ourselves something that was the dogs bo**ocks!!!"

am just 22 yrs.., single ! reading your discussion i was imaginimg how will i celebrrate my silver weading... First thing i will do is kiss my wife at 12.00Am of that day, then i will start to celebrate... i will start my celebration by praying to god.., will give my wife a present whatever she asks for, aloso lots of surprizes for her ... send some Quality time with lunch along with children and family...Am sure with God's grace there will be lotzz of celebration that day..!!!
