Elephant Seal Vacation and Recommendations?  | |  I'm going on a mini vacation soon along the coast of California to see the elephant seals. Has anyone here done this before? Do you have any recommendations on hotels or motels to stay in? Did you get a lot of good photos?
I'm hoping to go up there soon to see them in the wild! I see them nearly every week at the rehab center, but I've never seen an elephant seal in the wild unless you can count when I've helped release some.

I will try to post a photo of them soon. Maybe I'll make it my avatar or something. I got a bunch of cool photos.
I would definitely recommend going to see them. It was so cool to see them in the wild. I volunteer with elephant seals every week, but seeing them in the wild was just so awesome. Especially the size of those males! | |
