Vegan Hiking Boots?

Are there any vegan hiking boots? If so, where? And are they any good? I really need a pair of new hiking boots. Last time I just got some from a non-vegan family member and if it's used stuff that I didn't buy and it isn't in good enough condition to donate, then I'll wear leather. But now those are totally unwearable and I'm not buying leather. Men or women sizes are fine since I can fit either one and I'm not too picky on styles, just comfort.

I was going to contribute a few sources where you could find leather alternatives, but I think the post above pretty much sums it all up, so I have chosen not to post mine, as it's probably already listed at that resource page! Good link, my friend!

Aw, well thanks for bringing this thread back up I had almost forgotten about it! I did find one pair I really wanted to get, but they're all so expensive that so far I haven't had the money yet. But hopefully soon I'll have some new hiking boots!

What price range are you looking for?

Something around $50 would be good. Most I've seen are $100. Which I suppose I may end up getting eventually anyway since I'm finally supposed to be going hiking soon. I don't want to spend too much since I don't get to hike too often, but I don't want to kill my feet either by buying something really cheap that doesn't work.
