Who are P.A.B.'s here? Peanut Butter Addicts, anyone?  | |  I am addicted to peanut butter. I am so thankful I don't have the most common food allergy in the world, because maaaaan, I love peanuts and I love peanut butter! It would be a pain if I couldn't eat peanut butter again. LOL. Who else are addicted to peanut butter here?
This feels like an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
Let's call this Peanut Butter Anonymous.

the only kind of peanut butter that i like to eat is the creamy kind. i do not like the crunch peanut butter at all. it seems to be lots drier and well crunchy. ewww. i eat peanut butter by the spoonfulls. i make a wonderful chocolate dipped peanut butter candy. i also like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches only with strawberry preserves on my sandwich, no other kind of jelly.

 inkyuboz (394) | 12 months ago | I love PB & J's too. I use grape jelly because it's usually the only one my mom buys. I don't have any choice, although, like you, I would prefer strawberry jam or preserves.

| | | 2. caver1 (1138) | 12 months ago |  Okay. I admit it. I'm a Peanut Butter Addict, but I'm recovering. I haven't eaten peanut butter with a spoon straight from the jar in a long time. But I do get my daily fix with peanut butter on toast for breakfast, with a glass of milk. I don't care for the crunchy stuff.
The sad thing about this addiction is that my hubby does have the most common food allergy in the world. His reaction to peanuts is mild, I think he has grown out of it to some degree. But I do always warn him if I've just had peanuts before he kisses me.

| caver1 (1138) | 12 months ago | I know it could be so much worse for him. When he was a child his throat or airways constricted and his parents rushed him to the hospital. Now I think the same thing happens, because he says it makes his throat sore or tight, but the reaction is not so bad, he can still breathe. Maybe because the airways are larger.
But it is sad, because there are some many yummy peanuty desserts and I don't make them, because it would just be rude to make a dessert I couldn't share with him. | |
