i think there are too many people making these tests when they haven't got a clue how to put a decent test together, which means that usually they are crap. although its not a general rule, often in life you get what you pay for, which is why payin a few quid could help get better results. people often take those tests more seriously too, or at least that is the impression i get with http://iq-test.co.uk. don't forget that the score you get is only meaningful if they get loads of people doing the test that spread across the entire range of intelligence. to be honest i used a few different online tests to familiarise myself with the system before apply to mensa (probably the best score your'll get). although i did like iq-test.co.uk's mission to prove that the uk houses the most intelligent people in the world.

I was once told by a lecturer at my College to test my aptitude at a website. Its tickle.com I took the test and the results were really great! I ranked within top 10% of all the people taking that test.
Even this good result did not urge me to take on more tests. It was my first and the last one. I think you should try this website. Tickle is closed now, but a similar website is there:

There was a time when I enjoyed taking online tests, I thought it was funny and interesting, but I have somehow lost interest in those tests and I hardly take them anymore. Many of them are just for fun, but some of them are more serious. The resuts aren't always accurate and some of them don't seen true at all, but I used to find them interesting anyway and to me they were a kind of entertainment. I especially liked the tests with pictures ("pick the picture you like the most" etc). One of them was pretty accurate and that impressed me.

Actually I don't mind taking those kinds of tests from time to time. It is just for fun anyway. I do agree that some of them end up not suiting those at all but maybe them tests shouldn't be taken too seriously in the first place. It is fun to see what the internet has to offer from time to time when it comes to wanting to take tests and the like. Take care Lindery.
