Hi Dawnald! I am the dominant one in the eye department. I tried to explain this to my kids' dad. I have 4 kids, 3 brown and 1 blue eyed. He has blue eyes too. He thinks my son got his blue eyes from him. I said word for word " Since I have the dominant characteristics in the eye department, and my mothers eyes are blue, Kota got his eye color from me/my side of the family." I even went back to my biology teacher and she said the same thing. I am recessive with the ear thing, dominant with my tongue. I love being right! What are you?

From what I remember, your child would have had to get the blue eyed gene from both of you. Anyway my eyes are hazel. My parents both had brown eyes.

If you look at me I neither look like my mother nor my father. I got my eyes from my Mom, my nose from my grand mother, my lips from my father, moving ears from my father, my figure from my aunt (father's side) so I guess I'm a combination of dominant and recessive traits LOL.
Am I dominant as a person? Nope definitely not but I don't just let people walk over me either. I have a learned my lesson.
I hope I understood what you were trying to say in here LOL. Have a good day dawnald!

Hmmm, weeeeeeeelllllllll, I have dangling earlobes, I can roll my tongue, and I have hazel(on the green side) eyes. Beats the heck out of me, I am a recessive dominant?
A dominant recessive? *L*
When it comes right down to it, I am the one that kind of holds things together, most of the time, does that make me dominant? I want things done the way I want them done, and I want them done right. Does that mean I am dominant? *shrugs* I don't know, I think it just makes me a Virgo.*L*

Maybe it makes you Dominant but people are not just dominant. They might be dominant at work and submissive at home. They might be submissive at work and a tyrant at home. It depends on how you define dominant.
I would say that someone who wants things done the way them done and makes people do as they wish is dominant. I am like that in some ways and I am cancer not virgo. Still I am dominant with some people and not with others. With a dominant I can trust I am happily submissive but with others I will be dominant if I need to be.

Yep it's true, you can be dominant in one situation and definitely not in another.

This is true. When I worked in pharmacy, I did whatever I was asked to do, but I did it MY way. I made sure the things assigned to me were done correctly. However, at home, I am more dominant. I say jump, he asks how high.
*L* It's not really as black and white as I make it sound, he just leaves more to me than I do to him.
I haven't always been that way. In the beginning, I asked him if it was ok for me to do this or that. As I grew up, I became my own person. He encouraged that. He writes the checks for the bills, I tell him when they need to be written, and I make sure he does it then.

I do not think I am dominant. I would be more stand backish I suppose. I can be with the hubby sometimes, but he usually is very dominant in everthing he does, as most males are.
I can take so much of his controlling sometimes, and them he gets it from me. I would say no I am not!. My hubby might say otherwise though.

I am the princess type, so where does that put me lol. I have attached earlobes and brown eyes, but my tongue does no rolling. What princess in her right mind would have a rolling tongue. Sheesh. and by the way I dont have to give you a reason but i'll gladly give you a Riesen if you like chocolate!!

Interesting. I have dangling earlobes, I can roll my tongue and my eyes are brown. Am I dominant, hmmmmmmmmmm yes in some ways. In life, in the workforce I can be dominant but it gives me butterflies in my stomach to do so. If I see something is wrong I feel the need to try and stop it or at least expose it so it will stop.
But I a also an introvert and if someone else will step up I will back them up to the hilt and let them lead. I am dominant over some but with a dominant male I can be submissive by choice and enjoy it. The world is a lot more complex than this physical description shows.
