I've always grown lots of vegetables in the garden, but when we moved to where I live now, the garden wasn't really suited to it. So now we grow veg in pots. We plant tomatoes and peppers in the greenhouse and courgettes (zucchini?) in pots outside. They do really well. I freeze a lot of them, so we still have some in the winter. How about everbody else?

I started growing my garden veggies in containers in 2002 because I was renting an apartment and couldn't dig in the yard. So, I started planting in flower pots and these barrel looking things. I found that the garden veggies grew faster, a larger harvest was produced, and I was able to grow far beyond the regular "ground growing" season. I don't know if I'll ever grow in the ground again. hehe

There are a lot of advantages aren't there? Less digging, less watering, easier to harvest, and easier to keep the pests off.Plus they look good.
