We are teaching our dog to chase the eagles out of the trees around the house so our cats will be safe. It's very hard to get her to realize the prey is up in the tree. I stand with the dog and say bird, my husband then get the eagle to fly, I wonder how long it will take for her to get the drift, I bet shs'll have it by next week of course the eagles are smart and pretty soon they will stay away from our trees.

Dogs are smart animal. Like my dog she will understand if I asked her to chase away the cows only by clapping my hands. But my other dog is kind of stupid cos whenever someone comes in to my compound be it a guest or otherwise when I stand out to great the person she will immediately pounce on that person in anger and try to bite her. I don't know what kind of behaviour she has but I am forced to chain her cos she has bitten few people which frighten me if I let her free. Younger dogs is easier to train then old dogs. What you're doing is a good training for your dog.
