Which do you prefer deep sea, surf or freshwater fishing?

When I do go fishing I prefer to surf fish. I like to catch saltwater fish because I actually may eat them. I love to catch flounder,striped bass and blue fish. Surf fish also can give a good fight and you dont have to be on a boat. So what do you prefer and why?

I dont like the ocean
let me rephrase that I am scared of the ocean
so any type of salt water fishing or deep sea fishing is out of the question
i do like freshwater fishing though
why? no sharks LOL

hi, wonttakelong. there are some parts of the sea/ocean where there are no sharks. i am afraid of sharks, too, you know.
anyway, if you are much too afraid of the sharks, you can always stay at the seashore and then breathe the breeze. it is so good breathing the breeze. gives me a feeling which is so hard to explain. doing this is even much better in the early mornings. i hope that you will try doing this sometime.

all we have here is freshwater fishing. catfish is my favorite , they do alot of bass fishing aound g=here to. i like to fish & like to eat them.

Catfish is good. That's what they have in a lake near by. I love to eat catfish.

i'd always love to go to the sea and spend some time whiling away at the beach, fishing or no fishing, bathing or no bathing.
there is something about the sea that is very calming. there is something about the experience of being about the beach that is so hard to explain.
i know that i am a lover of nature and being at the sea doing something or nothing at all, is one way of communicating with among the nature's best gifts to humankind.

You sound just like me and my feelings about being by the sea. I love to go to the beach no matter what we are doing. Its one of the most calming natural wonders of the world.

when i lived on the cost this type of fishing was great but now that i live in south dakota i have been fishing for walleye alot. but my very favorite fishing will always be cat fish. fishing is one of my favorite things to do.
