Which do you prefer deep sea, surf or freshwater fishing?  |

|  When I do go fishing I prefer to surf fish. I like to catch saltwater fish because I actually may eat them. I love to catch flounder,striped bass and blue fish. Surf fish also can give a good fight and you dont have to be on a boat. So what do you prefer and why?

| |  all we have here is freshwater fishing. catfish is my favorite , they do alot of bass fishing aound g=here to. i like to fish & like to eat them.

let me rephrase that I am scared of the ocean
so any type of salt water fishing or deep sea fishing is out of the question
i do like freshwater fishing though
why? no sharks LOL

| | hi, wonttakelong. there are some parts of the sea/ocean where there are no sharks. i am afraid of sharks, too, you know.
anyway, if you are much too afraid of the sharks, you can always stay at the seashore and then breathe the breeze. it is so good breathing the breeze. gives me a feeling which is so hard to explain. doing this is even much better in the early mornings. i hope that you will try doing this sometime. | | | |

| |  Actially i like all, depending where i am , ime not much of a fly fisher so trout is out , love catching carp , and catfish
and at sea , deapsee or from the beach , depending on the budget , here in South africa it's about R400-R450 , about 45usd
to go out deepsea fishing , with the skipper per person , bait and taccle inc , and catches to take home , about 2 hours out in the water ! , but like i sed if the budget is low , u can catch from the beach or rocks , witch is allso nise!

| |  when i lived on the cost this type of fishing was great but now that i live in south dakota i have been fishing for walleye alot. but my very favorite fishing will always be cat fish. fishing is one of my favorite things to do.

| |  In my opinion i like to surf fish in deep sea and fresh water only.I like catfish very much with a lot of interest and i often eat very much so i prefer Fishing in Freshwater.
