Do you take much notice of your daily profile page views?

for me its important, my reason why it is because i have in my profile the link to my site. now my basis if there are mylotters who give visit to my site is with my number of profile views. and it is nice to know that others view your profile because they are interesting to know you. maybe other people would never mind if they got visitors on their profile or not, but i think the goal of having higher profile views is what every user needs to attain to measure their popularity.

it is certainly important to me. well, it doesn't contribute anything to our earnings here in mylot. but personally, i would like to know if there's someone else seeing my profile, and how many times in a day, for that matter. its not that i am affected by it, he he he but really, its for curiousity sake. And luckily, everyday, there's someone else checking on my profile (i wonder who)... we could not tell, but its nice to know somehow that there's always other mylotters who are reading my profile, not necessarily the same person, i guess. welcome to mylot imaginearea! keep on posting! cheers!

Personally I have never thought that it was important to visit people's profiles unless it is someone you are wanting to add as a Friend, or someone who you are wanting to go in and catch up on more of their discussions that you might have missed in the past, etc. as well. I have never really gone in and seen what it is, and I am sure there are days that it is more than others. But I know there are a lot of people who continue to know who I am and Trust me that I do not have to worry about if people will respond or not with each New discussion that I might choose to start in here as well.

I really do not think it is an important aspect, if that was important to me then I would have a very boring life. The purpose why I am here is not to get page views that won't do anything for me, but rather to make a few friends, have good conversations, and have a few extra cents in my pocket by the end of the day. I don't do anything to encourage people to look at my profile, I do not pay attention to that sort of stuff. But hey, whatever floats your boat...

I think it is okay. I would do it as long as they want to. If it is necessary why not? It is one way of meeting people.

Hello imagine area, i have a daily look in my profile. First check is for my discussions and if there have been new responses to them and at which time i got these responses. Second check is if i got some new comments from my friends on it. Third check will be in which categories my ranking has risen or has fallen. Fourth check is how many profile views i got within the last 24 hours as i can see if some of the profile views lead also to a visit to my blog. Encouraging to visit the profile is kind of promoting which some persons and myLot doesn't like to see. It would be against the terms of myLot. They say if somebody is interested in you, they will look themselves in your profile. Just try to give helpful answers and your profile views might get up (i'm unhappy if i have less than 20 views each day ). Or start some nice discussions, some will add you as friends and this makes them also view your profile. Have a good time in myLot!
