We Got Our Loan!

Back in the fall we decided it was time to do some repairs on our home. We got estimates on foundation repair, a new roof and new windows. On November 10 we applied for a loan with our bank and were told it would only take 2-3 weeks for the loan to go through. Well, I finally got the loan today, three months later.
Has anyone else had trouble borrowing money lately?

The recession has hit everyone hard.Before ,the Banks were lenient in giving the loans.But now they verify the documents , the signatures , the salary certificates , whether you can repay them & much more.Its not only for you but for everyone its the same.

I think you are right, but it was so frustrating to have to wait so long. I was afraid it would take a long time to get the work done. But when I got home from the bank and called the foundation repair company to schedule a time they asked it tomorrow would be ok. Wow, at least someone is fast.
