Hi All Has anybody having problems with Alertpay verification? My Name is James and my ID on my drivers licence says J and I get the message back that this document is not valid as my firstnames dont match DUH I know of noone whos first name is J Second gripe I have sent them 3 emails with my problems and I do not think that the consultants read what one writes, as I have received back the same blurb 3 times. You would think that a large organisation like Alertpay would be a bit more jacked up WADDA you think Jim

I suggest you provide them an identification that has the exact name and address you've given on your AlertPay account.

I suggest you provide them an identification that has the exact name you've provided in your paypal account so you wont have to deal with the same blurb they were sending you.

you need to show the exact full name on your ID. you better send other ID like your national ID card or passport with a full name written on it. I think most of company like alertpay, paypal, etc are requesting the full name of ID.

I think what they actually meant was the letter J can stand for many names other than James. They mat not be trying to be arrogant or evasive, If they are to accept initials imagine what could happen when scammers and fraudsters find out about this. I believe they are doing this to protect their integrity and customers's interests. I guess you will have to find something with your full name on it. Maybe it is possible to change the details on yor driving licence? I had no problem with verification because my name is written in full on my driver/s licence. all the best, rosdimy

Well it would be hard for you to argue this with them. But I would suggest that you just present an Identification that has the exact same name as you have in your AP account so that you won't have any problems.
