Twitching! I have to admit, this is a funny business! There are so many different forms of twitching or let's use the easier word, fidgeting! I have been in group discussions and I have noticed myself doing this, I twiddle my thumbs, I play with a pen, it's just something to do! So many people do it. Do you do it? What do you do? I've even noticed others playing with their ear lobes! So, are you a twitcher? Go on, share your secrets!!! Andrew

Hi bombshell, it's nice to meet up with you once again! I must say, I do admire the photos that you keep adding I guess touching the nose can be classed as twitching! I just love to twitch when I have nothing else to do, I guess this indicates that I am suffering from boredom! Andrew

I'll tell you what I do which is just as frustrating. I keep the beat with my toes whenever I hear any sound that repeats itself. I put a rythm to nearly every noise I hear and it can be quite frustrating. I cannot listen to music while going to sleep because I'll be spending the whole time tapping my toes to the beat. It would not be relaxing for me at all! LOL! Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

That sounds like quite a technique! I think that everyone does something though when they are in a certain situation. I myself continue to wear out my pen, it's just something to do, shifting it from finger to finger!! Andrew

I used to tap my foot at times when in the state of of excitement or nervousness. I would not pay much attention to it till the time i noticed a friend shake his entire leg when he was in a similar state. That got me concious as to what i was doing and seemed to have controlled it since then.

The foot tapping technique is definitely a popular one! I think lots of people twitch and they don't realise that they are doing this. I guess I tend to wear out my favourite pen, I'm forever holding it as I manouver it about my fingers!! Andrew

Hi, Adrew. I think i do, i so this unknowingly. I twitch my forehead whenever i am thinking or into something serious. I am not even aware that i do it. Only when i noticed that 2 prominent vertical lines have formed in my forehead, then it got into my attention that i twitched. Now, i am trying my best to control it because of those lines that are not so pretty to look at. so, i twitch just like you.

I guess it's really ok to twitch, lots of people do it afterall! I think I do this a lot when I am involved in conversation with someone, you just seem to get on with the habit for some reason, as I mentioned though, it's something to do! Nice to hear from you sweetie. Andrew

LOL, weeeelllll, I dont exactly twitch...but I do twirl my hair. This has been a case since I was in grade school, dont know how it started but it is something that has stuck with me my whole life, and even as I started to read this thread, I was twirling my hair...LOL seriously I was!! I have cut my hair to try to stop myself, and that doesnt work either... just a little thing I do...sadly I see my kids doing it as well...now that scares me!! LOL happy mylotting.

I sometimes see women twirling their hair when I am in a group discussion and I think that's a nice trait, quite cute!! Obviously I don't do it myself but I favour the pen above all else! Well, here's to twitching I guess! Andrew

my leg shakes, i chew the inside of my mouth, and i play with my pen as well. all depends on the situation. if I am bored, if I am anxious, if i am trying to stay awake during a lecture..etc.

The leg shake definitely rings a bell! I also do that from time to time. It sounds kind of crazy but it really is something to do when you are feeling bored or you would rather be elsewhere. I think that the regular movement of the pen though, this relaxes me in a group situation. Andrew
