Spring must be coming

It's not warming up much yet here in Italy but the days are already longer and the birds are singing. The sun is higher in the sky and doesn't affect me when I'm at my computer anymore as it still pours in through the window in the mornings but being higher it only hits the part of the room nearer the window. My acr is out allnight as usual but it starts quicker now in the mornings and the wind is warmer. Oh yes it's coming soon!

Hi savypat. In my place I've noticed that winter and spring are like fighting of which should prevail. Some small grass are beginning to grow yet for a week now I guess, snow is falling like crazy that everywhere is white covered again. I was laughing today when I saw a grass over a heap of snow. Its like the grass is shouting that snow go away and spring is here now. How I wish winter will soon be over.

Mother nature at her finest! It was a lovely sunny day here in the South of UK, so I thought I'd go and make a start on the garden, I did two hours worth of digging and I had the fresh air, saw the flowers starting to poke through and the best thing that happened was a lovely robin come and join me he was grateful for all the grubs I had dug up for him, then he treated me to a lovely song. I was out in just my t-shirt as well. I love this time of the year when Mother Nature awakes and not only that already the nights are starting to draw out again, which is a welcome sign, everything growing again and wakening up after a long sleep. I love the Spring! March is just around the corner already!

we donot have spring season here but winter is almost getting over and it is going to be summer here.i dont kbow if this is true,but many of women seem to become pregnant now.

Hey pat! Nope! Not where I live live! It's just a little bit too early here in NY to see the signs of Spring yet! I think we will have to wait until maybe the end of March or beginning of April. It is still too cold to see the birds come back yet. It still could snow some more and we are still in the thirties and twenties at night so I think we will have to wait just a little longer!

hello savypat around here lately in Middle Tennessee it hasn't been much like Spring time at all. i know one thing, i sure am ready for Spring time to be here as the next person, but this week around here we are supposed to have cooler weather like forties and low fifties for the high temperature for the day and then on Thursday of this week, and again on Saturday we are supposed to have snow! i will have to get up bright and early Friday morning to see if we got any snow or not so i will know whether or not to wake up the boys and get them ready for school that day. but a couple of days ago, we had beautiful weather here and we did have a couple of early Spring days and it sure was nice, then boom, all of a sudden the cold weather is back. go away winter time! take care and have a beautiful evening.

we had a holiday here in canada today (its called 'family day') and it was a nice and sunny day although chilly (+5 C) so we went for a bit of a drive and a walk as well. it definitely seems spring is on its way although i dont think winter is over just yet even though it may seem like it.

Snow. Just had a few weeks of warming and melting and the snow has returned. It's only Feb. and where I live that means winter is still going strong! We usually consider April to be the first signs of Spring here. You are lucky!
