Buffalo, NY: Very, very short news paragraph...Aasiya Hassan had recently filed for divorce and had an order of protection mandating that he leave their home as of Feb. 6th. He is charged with second degree murder...WHAT?
My question to myLotters:
Is this the norm for Muslims? You marry them and you can't leave them? And the man confessed and told the police where to find the body...why 2nd degree?

I doubt very much that it is normal, there are nuts that are muslims, like there are nuts that are canadian and american and english.

Maybe it was a plea bargain because he confessed. Unfortunately it is the norm to kill a female who is not behaving as they want. They also kill their daughters if they are rapped. They kill their wives and daughters for not wanting to marry who they are told to marry, for wearing western cloths, for dating, and for anything else that goes against their wishes. It's all for the sake of "family honor".
