Sometimes, we land in such a situation, which appears to us as we are caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. If you are caught in such a situation and needs to take a decision, what will you select the devil or the deep blue sea and on what basis you would choose your option? Some funny and amusing responses are also welcome. Thanks in advance.

hello Dpk.....It will neither be funny nor amusing to be caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.But you know I am slippery as an eel, and I will definitely befriend the devil and lure him with my charm and when he falls for me,I will slip away and he will fall into the deep blue sea instead and get drowned.......Its not easy to trap me ,dpk.......Nari sakthi ki jay ho!!

No Arguments Rose, I agree with every word of yours.......it is not easy to play with fire.......and that is what you are.......fire that burns if troubled, and fire that gives warmth, when cared and respected.........you indeed are matured intelligent girl.

Rose: - Apsara has said it all and commented very beautifully on your response. I can understand your intention to befriend the devil, I hope you can lure and entice Him with your charm, so that he does no harm to you and he is simply pushed into a deep blue see. Many thanks for enriching the post and dare to face the devil.

hi deepak, I am a very uncertain kind of person by nature, and I really don't know how I will act at some particular situation at some particular time.....I can take any decision any time....like once when I was a little girl, I jumped into a pit of fire and burnt my feet.(devil in me..).....so you see I can do anything .......go with the devil or drown in the sea, with me anything is possible, I myself don't know what will be my final decision.......

hi dear rose, nice to see you. BTW I don't mind saying Nari Shakti ke jai, but deep inside I know.......most of my decisions benefit only others, and now I wish I had taken some decisions for myself at right time.......all this because someone like you were not there to guide me.where did you hide hah!!!!!!!!.......

Your replies shows that you will wait for the situation to come first, then you will decide whether to choose the devil or the deep blue sea.............LOL! But I do hope whenever you are required to take an important decision in your life at present, you apply all your experience and logic to arrive at a decision. Many thanks for enriching the post.

Hi Aps dear you are absolutely right. We women can rise to any occasion and make sensible decisions when faced with two odds and emerge victorious always. This is beacuse of the Nari sakthi that is within us.An emergency can make us do things we imagine we are not capable off, especially when it concerns our loved ones, and our own safety is the least concern during such times. So Aps we women are capable of taking the right decision when haunted by the devil and the deep sea, simultaneously, and often by throwing cuation to the winds .So cheer up ,and bolo nari sakthi ki jay ho!!

Deepak, I guess why you started this discussion. I will select the blue sea because I know swimming so I can survive for atleast sometimes. In the meantime an angel may come and will help me to escape. I am sure Deepak, I won’t be in between the dilemma for much time. Each and every problem have solutions, if need so. Best of luck.

How could you know why I started this discussion? It is good to know that you know swimming and can swim in the deep blue sea, in the hope that an angel will come to your rescue. It shows that you remain very positive in your life. I know each and every problem has a solution and ultimately a decision will have to be taken. Thanks for dropping in and daring to swim in the deep blue sea, you can swim in the blue sea easily, because you have been awarded a blue star recently.

No third option? Now every quiz has four options. You should give atleast three! Two are not enough for me. Especially because I dont know to swim. So I cannot jump into the deep blue sea. Or else I will drown. May be I could make friends with the devil and convince him to give me another option......did you notice that we always refer to the devil as HIM......any guesses why??

LOL! Only two options, no other option is allowed. So you will go for the devil because you are sure about your convincing powers and you can pursued HIM to give you another option. Hopefully, if any 'devil' reads this answer, HE will feel very happy to see your answer, because you have choosen Him. I did not know the reasons for referring the devil is HIM. Please tell. Thanks for dropping in.

Oh dear, what to do, what to do! I think I would choose the deep blue sea although the devil would be very tempting I'm sure. The deep blue sea sounds so much more wholesome and untainted somehow. Are you sure there is no third alternative?

This is a tough one? I've had enough experience with devils and don't want to choose one again....and I'm not interested in drowing in the deep blue sea. I can't swim....and the thought of swallowing gallons of salty water before I die is not a very pleasant one. hmmm...on second thoughts....I'll just take swimming classes so that I can float in the deep blue sea and avoid the devil!

Please join the swimming classes later than sooner, you never know what is going to happen tomorrow. Many thanks for enriching the post.

Sudipta! Good answer. But BTW who assured you that you are going to be 'spared' even by a 'Devil'.....LOL? Two of the respondents above say that they can convince and win the 'devil..........are you thinking on the same lines? Many thanks for the interesting response and dropping in, you appear to me in a hurry, because when you saw that the discussion is about a 'devil', you thought it better to run away, after posting a brief response..........

Hi deepak! Oh goodness, are there other options to choose from? lol.. If I am in a situation with just those two options to choose from, I think I will be choosing the deep blue sea. I may be deep in trouble and maybe there is now way out and will just drown in misery until I die, but at least I wouldn't be selling my soul to the devil where he will be beside me for eternity. Yikes! take care and have a great day! lovelots..faith

Is it so that those who die in water or sea, become an 'angel' and go to 'heaven', if it is so, then I may also choose the same option........ Many thanks for dropping and showing courage to face the 'devil'.........LOL!

I would go with the devil and may be try convincing him! Choosing the deep blue sea is a no go situation as I am a bad swimmer and won't survive for more than a minute !Making a pact with the Devil seems to be the only option that is left to me , since you have not given a third option

Hello my friend dpk262006 Ji, I would always go positive, even if it is 'Devil', as I have full faith, that everything has been pred-decided and will happen accordingly. So why to crib. It is from my husband's experiences in service, that at one time, he was asked by Pilot to fasten and get ready to Jump over bay of bengal, while in emergency, when both engines had packed up, still, he was reciting 'Hanuman-Chalisa'. So let's remain positive and think about Deep sea under blue sky. May god bless you and have a graet time.

Yes, I agree with you that even in the most adverse circumstances, we remain positive, we may overcome our difficulties and problem. But which way will you go Devil or the sea? You have not concluded the incident, what happened to your hubby? did he jump in the Bay of Bengal? Thanks for sharing the incident and sending positive vibes.
