Do you necessarily search for the cheapest travel package online?

Do you spend time and are you determined to search for the cheapest pacakage online or do you search for the most trustworthy company? I do tend to look for reasonable package (might not be the cheapest) with a trustworthy company online. I think it's safer that way, what do you think?

My husband does that, he keeps on searching the internet to look for the cheapest way of traveling. Either be by bus, by train or by plane. We use to travel a lot of times. From Goa to other places here in India, so we need to check on the internet the best possible offer that travel agencies offer. We have tried booking on sleeper bus, and train and by plane. So far the cheapest route we get is by bus and train. But if we wanted to be comfortable, a plane would do better since it will be less time consumed. But since air travel these days are expensive, i don't think we are opt to choose this. Maybe if they roll back the price.

I usually buy a flight with a good quality reliable airline. Then I look it a travel guide and use some of its suggestions for booking accommodation. I often just book my first few nights and then decide on my accommodation at the other places I go to. I went to Cape Town on an airline, spend time in a guest house there, then I went on to two other guest houses on the Garden Route. Lately I have been worried that some airlines and travel companies are folding in the credit crisis. Two airlines that I planned to go on for future trips closed down. When I flew with my toddler son the plane was half empty. Coming home there were lots of empty seats. So not even the world's most successful airlines are doing all that well at the moment it seems. One step I took to safe guard me if the airline folded was get excellent cover for that eventuality on my travel insurance. Booking with a trustworthy company is very important. Good luck.

Yes it is good to search for a cheapest travel package. If we spend a lot of money and don't get the things we like we feel bad about it.We have to enquire from different places about the same country. The rates will be different. Then which is the best we can choose.

I've never looked for a travel package. I've just looked for inexpensive plane tickets, and when I've found one, I've e-mailed it over to my travel agent, and she's booked it for me. I'd rather book through her, because if something goes wrong, she'll back me up. Right now hubby and I aren't travelling much because of the ecconomy.
