Apologies for posting same discussion twice

I've just realised that I posted nearly the same discussion twice. I'd written the discussion out once, then wanted to correct a mistake, but then lost it. Couldn't find it, so wrote it again slightly differently. This wasn't some weird way of getting more views or anything like that! Has anyone else done this?
