Do you use your phone's "any key answer" feature?

I don't it happened few times where the call is ongoing without me knowing because i was pressing a key before the call. How about you? Is any key answer more convenient?

Well, there are times when i am on the rush or using my bag as a pillow. i would accidentally push a button. my hubby is bewildered to my calls because he hears nothing but blurr and that. i think you should key pad lock your phone so that you wouldn't accidentally push that button again.

Are you talking about for cell phones? I know I have heard of this before but am not sure if it's for cell phones or for house phones. I don't think I have used it unless I did so by messing around with the phone and it's features. Lol I will get bored sometimes and press buttons... on the phone ofcourse, I know not press a button that says "don't press this" and I don't do it to fire hazard switches either.

I'm sure they will. You're pretty much known here.

I think it's a bother rather than a convenience, really. I don't have a habit of locking my keypad too so if I were to have the "any key answer" feature on, it'd be a pain - just taking from what you said that you've answered a call without knowing it. LOL

Haha! That's true! And i recently removed the password of my simcard because it's quite inconvenient.

I have tried it before and yes it was convenient however, I stopped it because I was always clumsy. Some people only gave me a ring without the intention of calling as you know call rates are much more expensive here than text. Sometimes, I accidentally hit a key thus picking up the call at the expense of the other person's load. So I stopped it.

You even have to lie that you called when you didn't because someone's load vanished. lol!

I don't use this feature because my nephew (who is 3) is very fond of making experiments with any cellphone he sees. Also, sometimes without knowing it we might answer calls we don't want to receive, better to look at it first.LOL!

I don't have the any key answer feature set up. I have my phone configured so I just have to flip the phone open and my phone will answer the call. It's just easier for me because I don't have to worry about pushing buttons to answer it. As long as I open the phone the phone will automatically answer the call. I just find it more convenient.

My cell phone has this feature but I’m using the usual answering key. I’m used to the traditional answering key and for me it is safe to use. I often forgot to lock my keypad so it is better for me not to use any key answer as not to answer any call without knowing. With the usual answering key it is much convenient for me and less the chance of hitting the answering key without me knowing. It maybe a good feature for some people but for me it wouldn’t work out.

I think that is a bad idea to use that feature. I have some friends that used to tell me that every time that someone calls them, the auto answer any key feature is pressed inside their pocket or bag and the person calling waits until someone pickup the cellphone. I don't want to use that feature.

That's another downside. That usually happens.

Hello modstar! Honestly, I don't use any key feature when answering calls. My phone is slider so if someone's calling me I would just slide it off and answer the call.

For me the key answer is more convenient sice I go for that button automatichally, without even looking at the phone. :)
