It's A Girl's Movie Night!

Tonight, myself, my children, and a couple girls who do some babysitting for me are going to have a Movie Night! The girls just left to go pick up our pizzas (Cheese and Pepperoni) and I picked up the movies earlier. We have the following titles to watch:
Tyler Perry's, The Family That Preys
Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist
Mirrors
On The Doll
Open Season 2(this one is for the kids)
Have you seen any of these movies? What were your thoughts on them?

*squeals* Nick and Norah!? I love Nick and Norah! I pre-ordered it so it showed up on my doorstep from Amazon.com the day it was released. For less than I would have paid in a store... but then I let my friend borrow it because she has an iPod and I don't and it came with a free digital download copy for iTunes, PSP and iPod. And she hasn't given it back yet 
But it's a really cute movie, funny without a lot of the slapsticky physical stuff or gimmicky nonsense that is so popular lately. Just good old fashioned funny and cute.

I really loved Nick and Norah. I had read part of the book, but never finished it. I loved the book, so I knew I would love the movie. OMG, 
the way that gum got used, ewe, I had to cover my eyes in the bathroom scene. 
It was so good, I might just have to watch it again today.

Well, how about when Norah and Nick shared the gum. Or when she was in the restaurant and said it was "maintaining it's freshness.

I was appalled in the bathroom scene but then when Norah took the gum after that I almost screamed!!!

Hello singlemommy I hope you had a good movie night,I watched movies with two of my grandkids last night.I have'nt seen any of the ones you watched,I want to buy open season2 but havent made it to the store yet.I dont think I have heard of any of the rest.Well you have a great week,take care.

We didn't get all the way through Mirrors. We started watching it about 1 am and honestly, it scared the crap out of me. Needless to say, we were all piled up in my bed because everyone was scared.

All the movies were good. I didn't get all the way through Mirrors because we got scared. On The Doll was, how should I say, different. I wouldn't really recommend it. The Family That Preys was very good, but Nick and Norah was my favorite. It was very funny and if you've read the book, the movie is so much better.
