I do know what it feels like to lose a pet, my cat gave birth to 5 kittens, I used to visit them outside in the garden almost everyday, I lost them when they all were about 8 months old, I'll never forget them, but it helps if you don't have a picture to get reminded about them, I know I don't, it just passes away!

Loosing a pet that you've had for many years is always hard. I had a golden retriever, I lost her when she was 14. The pain does lessen, but I still have her picture out, a small one. And just recently (last week) my b/f and I split up and I moved to another state. He kept the dog we had gotten 4 years ago as a puppy. It broke my heart when I had to tell her goodbye. But I do know that she will be taken good care of and he's fixing to move to a house with land and a creek behind it, she loves the water.
