If opportunity comes, would you have your third eye opened? |
I'm such a chicken that even if somebody will give me a million just to open my third eye, I won't take it. Lately there are seminars or trainings which, they say, could help you open your third eye. If this opportunity comes your way, would you?

ANTIQUELADY (11192) | 10 months ago | in all my 66 years i never heard of that.

Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | Well, at least you heard it finally before you turn 67th.:-D

3. overwings (3609) | 10 months ago | I never heard about that third eye on the forehead. The only third eye I heard about, colloquially speaking is that one everybody's got behind, always covered except for when your finally saying good by for ever to your last meal. If you think about opening a third eye in your head, better in the back of it. That way you would have a perfect panoramic view.
| |
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | Hi wings, hehe, I was pertaining to the third eye which isn't a physical and visible organ of the body. Third eye means an ability to see things which normal human beings don't see. Like spirits, ghosts, supernatural beings, etc.

4. ElicBxn (15173) | 10 months ago | 3rd eye - say what?
are you talking like telepathy? cause there isn't a "real" organ such as a 3rd eye...
| |
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | Hi elic, LOL, yeah not the physical 3rd eye. I think telepathy is of another category. 3rd eye is the ability to see spirits, ghosts, supernatural beings, etc.
| |
ElicBxn (15173) | 10 months ago | ahhh, NO
I've seen enough without it being open, I'll just keep it closed - thanks
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | what's the use right when some live people look more like lost souls? LOL. But some people do choose to have their 3rd eyes opened because they wanted to see and help a a soul of a loved one "go to the light at the end of the tunnel" kind of thing. LOL
| |
ElicBxn (15173) | 10 months ago | I've never seen the ghost of a person, but I have seen the ghost of a cat and a dog - and when a friend said she saw her dog, I helped her with moving her on - like I did when I helped the cat move on. I didn't know how to do it when I saw the dog ghost - but she finally moved on, on her own.
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | REally? That's very interesting. I never thought animals actually had spirits. I mean, I used to imagine they had until I probably became less affectionate to animals and I just stopped thinking they had souls.
| |
ElicBxn (15173) | 10 months ago | Of course they have spirits and souls, not human like souls, but animal souls. And, since they never fell, they go straight to heaven.
As I once said, straight to Heaven, don't pass Go and don't collect a halo.
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | I wonder if my cat who died 4 months ago tried to appear for me but I couldn't see it because my third eye was unopened. LOL
| |
ElicBxn (15173) | 10 months ago | I think it kind of depends on how they die, was it slow and lingering? That's the case for the 3 animals I knew about
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | well he didn't come home one night which was rather unusual because he was always asleep on my bed hours before we were. We thought he just wandered off and found a female (you know how they are when it comes to that) but no, we found him the next day under a guava tree. He was stiff and cold, and of course, dead. His mouth was filled with frothy saliva. Our neighbors suspected that he must have played with a poisonous frog because they saw a lot of them during that time.
| |
ElicBxn (15173) | 10 months ago | that's sad, but not the kind of death that the 3 ghost animals I knew about died.
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | Perhaps the cat hated me so might as well not show himself to me. LOL. I kept kicking him whenever he attempts to jump onto the dining table to steal some food. I know it was a bit brutal but he probably knows now that I was only disciplining him.:-D
| |
ElicBxn (15173) | 10 months ago | I've been known to kick a cat or two, but never intentionally
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | They could get really naughty sometimes.
| |
ElicBxn (15173) | 10 months ago | No, it always happens when they run in front of me. Not to say I haven't "goosed" a few with my foot to get them to go when they don't want to go, but not hard, just enough to get them moving under their own power.
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | I see. I see. But with our present cat, he's a yellow one, I resorted to a water spray which is less violent than kicking him.
| |
ElicBxn (15173) | 10 months ago | the good thing about water spray is they generally don't know where it is coming from so they stay away even when you aren't there.
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | Not my cat.:-D when he starts meowing during mealtime and he sees my hand with the spray appearing under the table, he ducks down and runs. I haven't even sprayed him yet. I think he's kind of conscious about it already but he's just hardheaded. I wanted him to stay as far away as possible during mealtime because he tends to just jump up the table while we're eating.
| |
ElicBxn (15173) | 10 months ago | cats, some times they never learn
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | I don't know if they are just hardheaded, dumb, or smart but spoiled brats.:-)
| |
ElicBxn (15173) | 10 months ago | I've had a dumb cat, I can tell you, most of them are smart spoiled brats!
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | I was right after all. They are smart. Just stubborn and spoiled. They think they can bend the rules, don't they?
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | Oh yes, physics and ethics alike.:-D

5. leonelaphotography (922) | 10 months ago | What the heck? I don't think that's even possible! I wouldn't even take a million just to moon the president.
| |
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | Haha, some said it's possible to develop a 3rd eye. I bet they're really pretty tough. I can't even stand the imagination of seeing a ghost inside my room.
| |
leonelaphotography (922) | 10 months ago | Well, I don't personally dig into those types of interests. I'll leave my response like this though because I would have to talk about my beliefs to explain. I don't want to turn your discussion into a religious controversy.

Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | Haha, okay, me neither. Let's just leave it this way, and go on with our tea party, shall we?

7. modstar (4960) | 10 months ago | With the millions? Sure! Although it would be awkward to be making love with my future wife with some ghosts lurking around the room. I would be shy to show them my skills even if they're ghosts. Since i have the millions, maybe i can buy a stylish eye patch. Without the millions, nevermind. It would just be bothersome.

8. kquiming (497) | 10 months ago | YES! in the philippines i heard there's this workshop/ class that will train you to open the third eye. Someone told me my third eye is open but it's dormant..i dont know cuz it's weird right? HAHA. Well i'd like it fully opened and fully active, but maybe only for a day...not like, for as long as I live. that's like asking for a lifetime or nightmare...
| |
| |
kquiming (497) | 10 months ago | sorry wrong spelling. i said "a lifetime of nightmare"
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | Hi ming, geesh, I would never want to open my third for a day or even a second. I would just die if heart attack at my first encounter with a real ghost.
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | sheesh...I too made an error. "OF heart attack" not IF. LOL. GUess we're even now.

modstar (4960) | 9 months ago | I had no idea that ming's a filipina/no.

Theresaaiza (1560) | 9 months ago | Singapore's in the profile. But who knows he/she originated from PHilippines?
Ming, if you're reading this, we're confused.:-D
| |
kquiming (497) | 9 months ago | yep, i originated from the phil. and my parents are singapore residents so most of the time i'm here. just go home to the phil every 3 months or so..

Theresaaiza (1560) | 9 months ago | I see. I see.

9. alokn99 (2913) | 10 months ago | Yes i would. I have been doing some research on the subject. And it's not about seeing ghosts and things like that. It's about opening your conciousness and much more. It requires to be done with proper guidance and training and the ones who are supposed to be successful in having done so have said that the experiences are totally out of this world.
| |
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | So opening the third eye is totally different matter? All my life I thought the third eye was for that purpose. LOL.
Well, maybe some people whose third eyes are opened become more conscious and sensitive that they also end up seeing the ghosts. It's probably an added feature. LOL
Thanks for the info.:-D

10. alyciassecret (391) | 10 months ago | I have it open already, runs in the family. It gets stronger when I'm with a person that has that as well. And nope, I wouldn't want it if I knew what I know now.
| |
| |
alyciassecret (391) | 10 months ago | Seeriously? So I'm guessing, you can't see lost souls on the earth? hahahaha. My brotehr in law's like that.
| |
alyciassecret (391) | 10 months ago | Oh it feels just a bolt of emotions. I feel what they're feeling or want me to feel. I've felt fear most of the time, then feel what they're feeling. Like loneliness, sadness, mischievous, devious...I believe that's about it. I don't know how often I've seen them, but a few months ago I saw this white figure and I thought it was my husband, was on the bed with me too. Then I discovered that my husband and I had a fight and slept outside of the bedroom. After a few minutes, the "figure" wasn't there anymore. So instead of screaming in the middle of the night, I got up and insisted on my husband to come in bed right away. hahahaha. I have seen them in white figure, black figures and in colored. I think that's their choice.
| |
alyciassecret (391) | 10 months ago | Maybe you do. Before you were 6yrs have you ever felt, see, hear, etc with other entities? If you did, you probably do but never wanted it or accepted it. If you didn't, it's probably human nature's instinct. Every animal in the planet has that, and only humans usually don't listen to it. Every other animal in the world listens to their intuition and if they feel threatened, they do back off.
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 10 months ago | One time, when I was 4 or 5, according to my mom's story, I had a very high fever that I got delirious. I was pointing at something and mentioned, "LOLO" (local term for grandpa). My mom asked me how he looked like, and I described him.
My mom was very surprised because I never saw my grandfather ever. He died before my mom got married. I didn't even see pictures of him yet.
You are probably right.
| |
alyciassecret (391) | 9 months ago | That's it? Has there been anything else aside from that? If it's just that, I dunno...
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 9 months ago | Yeah, pretty much. That doesn't mean I am abnormal, does it?
I'd really rather leave things as they are. I don't wanna be sleeping in my bed and suddenly feeling like someone or something is creeping behind me who isn't my husband.:-)
| |
alyciassecret (391) | 9 months ago | Well, no one wants that for sure. When we're 6 and younger, I think we can sense angels as well as good and bad souls. Really just lost souls that are just trapped in this dimension and are stuck for some reason.
| |
alyciassecret (391) | 9 months ago | There might not be any 3rd eye, sorry for the disappointment. That's not for everyone honey, trust me on that end. It's so strange, but I usually get to be friends with people who do have a 3rd eye and that makes it worse. Meaning, I get to see souls frequently and they get to show themselves more when that happens. It's so horrible.
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 9 months ago | Haha, I don't mind not having any.:-D
Besides, real people are that scary already that I wouldn't want anything scarier anymore.
Well, goodluck on the things you see. You may even pursue a career as a ghost whisperer.:_D
| |
alyciassecret (391) | 9 months ago | Nah...I'd rather have a normal job. I'm not that strong with my extraordinary skills anyways and I wouldn't want to.
| |
Theresaaiza (1560) | 9 months ago | Yah, better off like that. Nice chatting with you!:-)
