Rain or thunderstorm?  

I don't really like thunderstorms because the sound of thunder (especially when its really loud) scares the crap out of me lol. BUt i do LOVE rain, the harder the rain the better. Lots of people I know find me weird for this, but personally I find the sound of rain very soothing and relaxing. I love sitting in my house, in the dark, no lights on, no tv, nothing, and just listeing to it tap against my roof and my windows. That sound makes me fall asleep so easily.

I like thunderstorms because I love watching lightning. I like seeing the beauty of nature at work and I like seeing the sky lit up. The strikes are so unpredictable and beautiful. I love the smell and everything.

I love thunderstorms! If it's going to rain, I want some rumbles and a light show to go with it. My dogs don't like them, though, so they stick to me like glue until it's over. These are the only dogs I've not been able to train to not mind the storms, but all their lives were spent in the southwest where there is rarely any rain. I'll try again this summer, maybe I'll succeed.

oh i do not like thunderstorms at all. i hate it when our electricity gets knocked off by a storm like that, that might happen to blow through our area. and i will take the rain anyday over a thunderstorm. usually when that it does storm here where that i live, it knocks my internet connection out as well until the storm blows over or until the next day. but one should be safe at all times when they should happen to be out and about in a dangerous thunderstorm like that. the lightening (i hope that i spelt that correctly) is what that scares me. i always make sure that the children are inside and also the dog when that i know that it is fixing to come a storm outside.

i love thunderstorms...this may sound strange but i find them so calming. i love to take a book and cuddle up with a blanket in my comfy chair with a coffee or tea and just relax!
rain doesn't bother me too much, i only hate it when the pressure really drops because i get pressure headaches when it rains if the pressure drastically changes

worst thing about a thunderstorm is it rains so hard and so fast it will normally knock out our power so for that part of it not a big fan but my dad however loves to go out on the porch and watch the sky light up hear all the thunder and the lightning and the crackling of the sky i mean thunderstorms are very impressive but can also be very frightening if you get caught out in one i for one dont care for having to go around in the dark which usually happens but we usually keep a lantern or 2 nearby just in case rain is ok but if you get too much you have to worry about flooding which is not good we had a summer storm couple years back got 10 inches in a day flooded everywhere took out roads couldnt drink the water it was bad hope to never see that again

i think i would prefer rain,,,lol.. as i am so scared of thunderstorm in fact i have a phobia on it, i hide my self every time there is a thunderstorm, its kind a funny but i feel like the thunderstorm will gonna hit me, and it really scare me to death. so i think im good on rain,,lol....

I think I like rain better, my mum wont let me go out when there is a thunderstorm...And I think I wudn't even like to go...

Great question...I like both actually.There is nothing like A Florida Thunderstorm(without the hurricane)..I remember when I was a kid at my grandparents house.Sometimes the electricity would go off during a scary windy thunderstorm.We would make a day of it.Eating and preparing food that was easy and did not require electricity ,playing games,anticipating when the lights would come on.When the lights finally come back on we would clap and clap as if we were at some kind of BroadWay play .It was wondeful and one of my fondest childhood memories...My other Grandmother has a tin roof so when it was a light shower the sound on the roof was so meditating and tranquil..I love a rainy day.Staying in the house with all the comforts you need.Its the best!
